There are two words used in the Scriptures which many Christians have not heard or have no understanding of what they mean. In the views of some Biblical Scholars, it is essential for Believers to understand what the words are describing in order for:
The two words are:
There have been other explanations for the Nephilim and Rephaim but they do not fit the Biblical Text. In the Scriptures, the word Nephilim, is often translated as "giants" in many Bible versions, which is partially a good translation but it does not convey the full extent of Nephilim. This was done intentionally in many cases to soften the impact for the Bible reader, and other places in account of language conversion confusion of the original two words.
The Nephilim were giants but they also were something much eviler. They were the primary reason the Great Flood had to occur because Lucifer was attempting to corrupt the human biology along with the corruption of the royal blood line of the future Messiah that was first introduced and promised to Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:14-15. Several Biblical Scholars have stated that the Great Flood was the only way of handling the epidemic problems caused by the Nephilim from the corruption and also the influence. The Fallen Angels that participated in the creation of hybrid Nephilim, got a permanent prison judgment that is discussed further in this topic.
Regarding the royal blood line of the future Messiah, notice in Genesis 3:15, there are two seeds mentioned. One is the seed from the Serpent, Lucifer and the second is the seed of the woman, which is biological impossible as females get the seed for reproduction from the males. This is a Messianic, glimpse into the future virgin birth of the Messiah along with the problem with the Curse of Jeconiah. The seed of Lucifer identifies many future aspects that include the Nephilim, Judas Iscariot, all attempts to wipe out Israel and lastly the Antichrist. Note: see the topic on why is Lucifer still active against Israel if Jesus Christ completed the Cross.
Genesis 3:14-15 | 14 The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you will go, And dust you will eat All the days of your life; 15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel. |
In Genesis chapter 6, there is the scriptural information that there were Fallen Angels, that participated in the creation of the Nephilim. In the English translation the Fallen Angels are specifically identified as "Sons of God" in the Scripture, so that the reader would understand that they were not descendants of Adam and Eve. Bene HaElohim in the Hebrew, is "Sons of God" and it always refers to angels, a direction creation by God, as read in the Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7; and Luke 20:36.
Other than Adam and Eve who were created by God, all humans are not "Sons of God", because we are created from our parents who are human. We, as Christians have a process when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, that we are given the power to become children of God where we will get glorified bodies for Eternity.
John 1:12 | But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name: |
In the Book of Enoch, which is non-canonical and non-inspired, but is good for understanding grammar and meanings of words in Hebrew and also in the Septuagint (LXX) translation of the Hebrew Old Testament conveys the Sons Of God are Angels. In the Book of Enoch, in the English translation in the above link, there are many giant references, along with ridiculous and fanciful exaggerations which easily proved the book was non-canonical and non-inspired.
We learn from scriptures, listed below, the Angels mentioned in Genesis 6:1-2, are the Angels who rebelled and fell with Lucifer. The Nephilim offspring, that were created from some sort of cross-breeding between the fallen angels and the daughters of men, is not described. The Nephilim were giant men with often extraordinary strength, height and mental abilities. They are described as male, not women, of "renown" which is something we might equate in today's vernacular as heroes in the sense of something like a sports figure or a war hero.
The understanding of the Nephilim is often called the "Angel View of Genesis 6" in some Biblical Scholar's documentaries, presentations and books. These are the key verses:
Genesis 6:1-2 | 1 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they took any of them wives of all they chose. |
John 1:12 and John 3:3 |
But to all who did receive Him, who
believed in His name, He gave the right to become Children of
God. and also in John 3:3 Jesus replied, Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. |
Genesis 6:4 | The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown. |
Genesis 6:4 indicates the Nephilim were on the Earth at the time before the Great Flood. The Great Flood left no humans alive, including any Nephilim, on the Earth. The only humans remaining alive were those on the Ark of Noah. The "and also afterward" in Genesis 6:4, indicates that after the Great Flood, new Nephilim came into existence, as proven by other scriptures.
Some Biblical Scholars, including this author, believe the mingling of the Fallen Angels and the intermarrying with women was possibly with a significant amount of the human race, causing the "wickedness of the human race had become on the earth" reference in Genesis 6:5 requiring the Great Flood. The exception from the scriptures, is Noah's family as read in Genesis 6:8.
Genesis 6:5 | The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. |
Genesis 6:8 | But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. |
Note: God's purposes for the Great Flood did accomplish His goal. There might be readers who might unfortunately wonder why additional Nephilim existed after the Great Flood, and then thinking God did not accomplish His goal.
As instructed by God, Noah and his family will build an Ark for the purpose of having his family and specific animals to live on during the Great Flood. God's purpose was to have Noah, his family and the animals repopulate the Earth after all other human beings, Nephilim and animal life have died from the Great Flood. The details of the building, and going through the Great Flood are read in Genesis 7 and Genesis 8, which is also discussed in the Great Flood topic.
Before the building of the Ark, the scriptures, in Genesis 6, introduce Noah as a righteous man, who had favor with God and something else that was very important.
For all of us, there is more to fully understand in God's purpose for the Great Flood besides removing sinful human beings. Some Biblical Scholars have proposed, as agreed by this author, that the infiltration of the Nephilim into human biology and the evil influence was a so pervasive that it grieved God as read in Genesis 6:4-7.
The good news is the Love of God saw Noah and his family, where God had favor on Noah. The key to favor was Noah's "righteousness" and he was "perfect in his generations" as read in Genesis 8-9.
In Genesis 6:9 the Hebrew word "perfect" is "tamiym" which means without blemish, sound, healthful, without spot, unimpaired and having integrity is used to describe Noah's family. In light of the intermarrying by the Fallen Angels and Earth born women, Genesis 6:9 indicates this debauchery had not happened in Noah's genealogy along with Noah being righteous through his Faith.
Note that the important Blood Line to the Messiah that God promises in the Seed of the Woman (Genesis 3:15), could not be blemished.
Genesis 6:4-7 | 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and afterward as well when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men. And they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown. 5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time. 6 And the LORD regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the LORD said, I will blot out man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth every man and beast and crawling creature and bird of the air for I am grieved that I have made them. |
Genesis 6:8-9 | 8 Noah, however, found favor in the eyes of the LORD. 9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his generation. Noah walked with God. |
While the scripture does not give us, the biological method used by the Fallen Angels, we cannot know the extent of Satanic knowledge and technology. There are New Testament Scriptural confirmations of Fallen Angels participating in the creation of the Nephilim.
Jude 1:6-7 | 6 And angels that kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. |
2 Corinthians 5:1-2 (habitation) |
1 For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens. 2 For verily in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven. |
2 Peter 2:4-5 | 4 For if God spared not angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 and spared not the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; |
1 Peter 3:18-20 | 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, 19 in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, 20 because they formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. |
Another consideration,
regarding
Lucifer and the
Fallen Angels knowledge and technology with limited abilities, this is
an excerpt from the topic on Magic
does not exist topic: Many people, are very mistaken about the power with limitations that the Satanic Realm does possess. Consider Pharaoh's magicians had their staffs turn into snakes which was not a form of trickery with sleight of hand movements.
Note that God created all creatures for specific purposes that are part of a dependent and related ecology that proves evolution is false. All of the creation groans and waits for restoration, because of the fall by Adam and Eve, as written in Romans 8:19-22. A Snake is idiomatic, in the scriptures, for Lucifer that started in the Garden of Eden, so we should recognize the Satanic Realm's choice to have the Egyptians staff's become snakes. God showed His Power with Aaron's staff:

There is a "Lines Of Seth" theory, which has no scriptural collaboration and it tries to explain the Nephilim are just giant men. The theory is:
It started in the 5th century by Julius Africanus to explain away the Fallen Angel view of creating Nephilim and was later embraced by Augustine. Do your own research, if needed, on this theory. It is the opinion of many Biblical Scholars, and this author, that it easily proven wrong and it is not worth spending too much time on. In brief, here are the points to prove it is wrong:
There are a few commentaries that mention Matthew 22:30's verse to refute the "Angel View of Genesis 6". These commentaries state that since Angels are not given in marriage then they are not capable of having sexual relations to procreate. This is an illogical connotative transfer of the meaning and purpose of what Jesus Christ was speaking about in Matthew 22:30.
Matthew 22:30 | For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven. |
As detailed in the previous sections of this topic, it is some Biblical Scholars opinions that even if we don't know the method:
The Fallen Angels creation of the Nephilim also occurred after the Great Flood. The scriptural references of the Nephilim have them located specifically to a geographic area of the Promised Land, but that does not eliminate them being other places in the world. Biblical Scholars point out that once God announced that Israel would go into Egypt and come out a nation before going into the Promised Land, then Satanic Forces set up the Nephilim to oppose entrance into the Promised Land.
Here are some of the Nephilim and Rephaim references in the scriptures. When Israel was coming into the Promise Land, there was resistance by many peoples and tribes such as the Anakim, Og (in Bashan) and Zamzummim that contained Rephaim, as well as humans.
Numbers 13:33 | And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them. |
Deuteronomy 2:16-21 | 16 So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people, 17 that Jehovah spake unto me, saying, 18 Thou art this day to pass over Ar, the border of Moab: 19 and when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, vex them not, nor contend with them; for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession. 20 (That also is accounted a land of Rephaim: Rephaim dwelt therein aforetime; but the Ammonites call them Zamzummim, 21 a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakim; but Jehovah destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead; |
Ezekiel 32:27 |
"And they do not lie with the mighty, the
fallen from among the
uncircumcised, who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war, whose
swords were laid under their heads, and whose iniquities are upon their
bones; for the terror of the mighty men was in the land of the living.
The "Fallen" should be translated Nephilim. |
Joshua 13:12 | all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned
in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the
same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for these did Moses
smite, and drove them out. This is the verse excerpt of the inheritance of the Tribes of Israel receiving land areas. |
1 Samuel 17:4 |
A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span.
The height is approximately 9'9" or 297 cm. The decedents from Gath were Nephilim. This is who the future King David fought and killed. |
1 Chronicles 20:4-8 Reference to the areas of Rephiam as even known today. |
4 Now it came about after this, that war broke out
at Gezer with the Philistines; then Sibbecai the Hushathite killed
Sippai, one of the descendants of the
giants (Rephaim), and
they were subdued. 5 And there was war with
the Philistines again, and Elhanan the son of Jair killed Lahmi the
brother of Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a
weaver s beam. 6 Again there was war at
Gath, where there was a man of
great stature who had twenty-four fingers and toes, six fingers on each
hand and six toes on each foot; and he also was descended from
the giants (Rephaim).
7 When he taunted Israel, Jonathan the son of
Shimea, David s brother, killed him. 8 These were descended from the
giants in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of
his servants. Note: There are many legends and written lore of peoples all over the world, with a fear of the people with six-fingers, similar to a Polydactyl trait, but something much more. American Hollywood entertainment, in the early years when there were still people alive that grew up or were first generation removed from different American Indian wars, knew about some of the Indian greetings done of holding up a hand and saying a greeting. There are Biblical Scholars and others that state the greeting of holding the hand up, not the voiced greeting, was to show how many fingers were on the hand, that would be a warning or for reverence of the travelers with six fingers. |
The scriptures inform us that the Nephilim, and Rephaim, are not eligible for Salvation through Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 26:14 | They are dead, they shall not live; they are Rephaim, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish. |
The Rephaim name in the scriptures often is used as a synonym for Nephilim, where Rephaim can also be describing specific tribes of Nephilim, that can contain humans, that were located in the Promise Land. There are Biblical Scholars that state the Rephaim are also direct descendants of the Nephilim where the genealogy may be cleansed of the curse after the 10th generation. It is the author's belief that God thwarted the Nephilim's procreation abilities other than having one offspring generation, where there is no scriptural collaboration, but just this author's opinion.
Isaiah 26:14 indicates:
There are Biblical Scholars that state their belief that the Spirit of the dead Nephilim appears to refer to the Demons in the Scriptures. The explanation is once a Nephilim dies, then his spirit become a Demon to wonder the Earth, as Fallen Angels also do, until the Great White Throne of Judgment.
Demons, in the descriptions of the Scriptures indicate they are distinctly different than the Fallen Angels according to some Biblical Scholars, who specialize in the area of Demons and Fallen Angels. This author agrees with the difference.
We know:
The Scriptures do not point out exactly the extent of what a Fallen Angel can do in terms of materializing for our perception. Hebrews 13:2 reflects Angels in the positive sense who sometimes may appear and interact with mankind on a mission from God, which requires them to have the ability to manifest a physical form, such as the Angels who took Lot out of Sodom and Gomorra. Notice in Mark 5:12 and many other passages, that Demons are cast out of mankind and desire to possess a physical body.
Hebrews 13:2 | Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. |
Mark 5:12 | And all the demons besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. |
An interesting point of Bashan is the scriptures dealing with "Many bulls of Bashan encircle me" as a dual reference prophecy concerning Jesus Christ on the Cross seeing the Demonic Realm watching. The "Bulls" is a demonic reference and not about the actual animal.
Psalm 22:12-15 | 12 Many bulls have surrounded me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me. 13 They open wide their mouth at me, As a ravening and a roaring lion. 14 I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It is melted within me. 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And my tongue cleaves to my jaws; And You lay me in the dust of death. |
When the disciples were asking Jesus about His Return, Jesus gives the disciples details which are listed in Matthew 24, 25; Mark 13; and Luke 21, 22. The warning given by Jesus was for no one to be deceived. Most Biblical Scholars indicate that the deception is a very real possibility which will happen to those who are not Believers.
Matthew 24:4 | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. |
Matthew 24:37 | As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. |
Jesus went on to let the disciples know that mankind, in the times of Noah, were going about their daily lives and did not recognize the signs of the times and missed the Ark opportunity or a rapture like Enoch.
What we all should recognize is that mankind has always been sinful. As discussed earlier in this topic, there was a specific problem in the times of Noah besides sin and it required a global cleansing accomplished by the Great Flood.
The question to ask ourselves is why did Jesus bring up the times of Noah? Jesus could have used some other time of adversity and problems but instead brought up the times of Noah. The distinction of the times of Noah was the Nephilim widespread infiltration and influence. God dealt with the "times of Noah" by casting the Fallen Angels, who participated in it, into Tartarus as indicated in 2 Peter 2:4-5.
Note that God is always showing Mercy in the entirety of history, as He was towards the humans before the Great Flood, by not letting them to continue to add on sinful judgments with the rebellion of the Nephilim. Also, there are the children and other humans that come under the Age of Accountability principle that most likely were then given a chance to enter Heaven before being influenced by evil to make permanent life changing decisions.
Considering what points that Jesus Christ was talking about in the Matthew scripture reverences just mentioned, then Biblical Scholars point out that there will be another future epidemic time that Nephilim will once again be on the earth. This appears to be confirmed by the vision in Daniel 2 discussed next. These same Biblical Scholars theorize that the Fallen Angels will know that they have just little time left to try to thwart the plan of God with Jesus Christ's return, so in the days before and during Tribulation Period they will risk the consequences of Tartarus to create Nephilim, as described in 2 Peter 2:4-5.
In Daniel Chapter 2, King Nebuchadnezzar has a dream of a Statue that had 5 parts:
Daniel's gives us the interpretation, when speaking to the ruler of the Babylonian Empire, King Nebuchadnezzar. The different parts represent five different distinct Kingdoms. Read Chapter 2 of the Book of Daniel for the complete dream and scriptural information.
What we know is:
Matching the scriptural references and descriptions with history:
Notice what is said of the last future kingdom:
Daniel 2:41-43 | 41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. |
The key part of the verse is the "they shall mingle themselves" with the "seed of men" but "not cleave". In order for the mingling to happen where the "they" to "not cleave" with the "seed of men" indicates the "they" have to be something other than the "seed of men". According to several Biblical Scholars that have studied this verse, the words in the Greek Septuagint and other old Biblical Sources do verify the meaning which appear to confirm the interpretation of an inference of the Nephilim. Also, the "mingle" indicates a joining where the "cleave" indicates it is temporary.
Mankind, since the earliest times of forging metal, has known that iron and miry clay could not be mixed. This paradox was a clue to the reader from the Holy Spirit, speaking through Daniel, that this is distinctly different and not the same as mankind.
Note that this is the view from many conservative Biblical Scholars but it is not the view of everyone. Those who disagree are often taking the interpretation of Daniel 2:43 as a reference to Fallen Angels working with mankind. Indeed, this is true but this does not take into account the whole point of the verses because of the paradox. Logically, it would stand to reason that the Holy Spirit would have had Daniel state it was just Fallen Angels, but since Daniel did not then the fuller explanation has to be the correct one.
There is an additional note to take into consideration which is the consistent use of idioms in the Scriptures. Clay is symbolic of humans where God is like the Potter who takes all of us and molds us into wonderful instruments of God, but the negative word "miry" before "clay" indicates something that God is not involved in. The word "miry" has the connotation of liquidized dirt or dust that is not good for anything, where dust is idiomatic of death in the scriptures. This further points to the description of the Rephaim being "dead, they shall not live" in Isaiah 26:14.
Ecclesiastes 3:20 | All go to the same place. All came from the dust and all return to the dust. |
Isaiah 64:8 | But now, O Lord, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. |
Isaiah 26:14 | They are dead, they shall not live; they are Rephaim, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish. |
The Biblical Scholars that take the view point of a future appearance is the Nephilim, often also take the view point that this will be part of the future Great Lie referenced in 2 Thessalonians 9:11, that is discussed next.
The following is an excerpt from the
Great Lie Topic: The Lie mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:11, is often called the Great Lie. It is perhaps commonly known, by most serious Bible students, to be dealing with a delusion dealing with the Tribulation Period. Most Christians can correctly state that the Great Lie is the belief in something that is against God and that there is no God. Notice the different points given to us in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12:
|
As you read this section, note that this author does not believe in UFOs are Extraterrestrial Life Forms coming from other places in the universe. See the section of "Do UFOs Exist?" in the UFO topic to read about at least ten reasons against UFOs.
There is the theory by some Biblical Scholars, which this author agrees, that in the days before and during the Tribulation Period, the world will see a new incarnation of the Nephilim to deceive mankind into believing:
The Nephilim will attempt this deception by appearing with enhanced physical, mental and technological abilities along with claiming to be from somewhere other than the Earth. This will have the possibility to deceive many people. With so much popular belief in unidentified flying objects (UFO), coming to visit Earth, is a possible proof of this being already set up.
Arguably, most UFO sightings have been proved false but there are those that are either unexplainable or confirmed. There are many sightings by credible individuals who are airline pilots, astronauts and military personal so this cannot be dismissed so easily. The best book, that this author found on the topic is "Alien Encounters" by Chuck Missler and Mark Eastman, which is a very outstanding documented book on the source of UFOs, which exposes the Nephilim and Fallen Angels as the source.
Note that this author does not believe in the 1947 Roswell Press Briefing incident, discussed in the Missler/Eastman book, where many have thought that General Roger Ramey was holding paperwork that stated there was wreckage in Roswell. This has been proven by advanced photo forensics to be false concerning the Roswell Press Briefing. This does not mean the incident of 1947 was not a UFO crash landing. This author agrees with Missler/Eastman and many other Biblical Scholars that UFO are not visitors from other places in the universe.
As an additional point, there are many investigators of UFOs, who are not Christians and perhaps Agnostic, who believe the source of the UFOs are domestic to our planet and not coming from outer space. In other words, they believe the UFOs are originating from locations on the Earth which are hidden. This author is mentioning all of this for the reader to keep an open mind and we all have no idea what the Tribulation Period will be like when Lucifer knows that he has only a short time and the Holy Spirit no longer restrains completely because of the Tribulation Purpose.
As mentioned in the
UFO topic: The world is figuratively littered with structures like the Great Pyramid which defy explanation. The important point for the Christian to absolutely remember is why would Extraterrestrials, which this author does not believe in, come from thousands to millions of light years away which would require advanced technology beyond recognition to only build stone structures? This points to Nephilim using Satanic knowledge but with Earthly objects and the limitations of technology and parts available at the time in history on Earth. In other words, the ancient relics like the Great Pyramid, while built with massive stones, do not have any computer type of wiring that came from technology worthy of spacecraft traveling thousands to millions of light years away. |
Revelation 12:12 | Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe for the earth and for the sea: because the devil is gone down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time. |
The interesting point of all informational resources, with the ones that contain
It is the belief of some Biblical Scholars and this author that the Nephilim, as described in the Scriptures, existed and will once again make an appearance as part of a last effort by Lucifer and the Fallen Angels to deceive as many as possible before Jesus Christ's return. Please know that the Nephilim, while potentially frightening, are just another aspect of the war between Lucifer and God. As Christians, we do not need to fear the potentiality of Nephilim any more than any other tool of Satanic Forces, as we are marked by the Holy Spirit for eternal glory with God.
Every human born is in a war where Satanic Forces are trying to stop a person from inheriting eternal Salvation and so much more. Suffering and hardships will happen but for the Christian there are many wonderful promises and rewards. One last scripture to give us all reassurance.
Isaiah 54:17 | No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me, Says the Lord. |
What to read next?
What is Salvation? Is it possible to lose Salvation? We have eternal life. Evolution is not real. When a Christian suffers is there benefits from it. Rewards in heaven. Do we Tithe? What does the 3rd Commandment tell us? What is Grace and Mercy? Is there an Age of Accountability? Is there a place of unending punishment and exile form God?
