In Hebrew, the word for "coincidence" is sarcastically meant to convey that nothing happens by coincidence or happenstance.

To believe that coincidences happen that benefit or cause a detriment to a person or a situation occurs purely without any external influence is ignorant of the understanding of God.  We often recognize the concepts reaping and sowing but should not be ignorant of the full influence and control of God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
