Astrology vs. Astronomy

Astrology has nothing to do with Astronomy, and of course nothing to do with Christianity. Additionally, consulting astrology in a recreational or sincere way is strictly forbidden by God, where it is one of the four greatest sins that a Christian can participate in.

For those who believe or take some parts of astrology with significance, should consider that it is based on ancient theories by the Babylonians that are intangible, unproven, highly speculative and satanic in origin. In recent decades, there have been new formulations of meanings that have been collected from a consortium of writers whose information sources are often disclosed to be from a so-called spiritual dimension obtained through some sort of s ance.

Publicly given Astrology predictions are written very generically, never specifically and always to generate curiosity. It is nothing more than wishing someone to have a good day which is the allure that traps people into desiring daily emotional confirmations. Additionally, no one can automatically know about someone's personality traits based on a birth year, month or even day.

Astronomy is the study of stars, planets and all phenomena in the universe which has nothing to do with predicting anything about a person's personality, destiny or desires. Christianity does have the ancient study of the Mazzaroth which tells the story of "The Way".

Why Astrology is Fake

There are many reasons why astrology is not real and not a science. Here are just three reasons to know:

There is no gravitational force, electromagnetism force or any kind of force from Star Constellations affecting us, as measurements using science shows there are none.
(a) The distances of the constellations are too far away even if there was a force.
(b) The planets in our solar system are not close enough to affect us either.
(c) The moon does have an effect on the earth, but it is hardly a consideration at all in astrology until recent decades, which still does not make any sense.
Astrologist like to come up with an idea of an "unknown force". Rhetorically the question is:
"Do astrologist know about something which science cannot detect and if so, then how did astrologist detect it?"
Astrologist know that people tend to forget when an Astrologist's predictions:
(a) are wrong,
(b) speak in generalities that are not specifics that can apply to literally any outcome, and
(c) rely on statistical probability predictions to be partially true, part of the time, when targeting a large group of people.
If Astrology was true, which it is not, then it would track the birth at the time of inception of a baby human-being before birth as the baby is formed in the womb and grows.
(a) If so-called gravitational forces of star constellations were real, which they are not, then while the baby is alive and growing in the womb it would be affected by the Zodiac Sign's affects.
(b) If the Zodiac Signs were real, which they are not, then it is also impossible to simply subtract nine months (normal approximation of time for a baby in a womb) from the birth day where the difference of one day can place the human-being in a different astrology Zodiac Signs.
(b.1) As an example, this author's birthday September 3rd, a Virgo, where the question is do I subtract 9 months to use Capricorn?
(b.2) What if a person is a premature baby or late term baby. What is the exact days to subtract?

NASA refutes Astrology

"NASA made it very clear this past week that astronomy and astrology are not interchangeable, and they are not to be blamed for the Babylonians screwing up the zodiac. But they didn t actually explain what the 13th constellation, Ophiuchus, is or where to find it.

Ophiuchus, which is known in astrological terms as a snake bearer, is located between the constellations Aquila, Serpens, and Hercules, just northwest of the Milky Way. On the south side of Ophiuchus is Scorpius to the west and Sagittarius to the east. The constellation can best be seen in the northern hemisphere in the summer, opposite to Orion. However, during winter in the northern hemisphere, the constellation remains invisible to most latitudes. This could explain why the Babylonians gave the constellation the axe when trying to pick just 12 signs, one for each month of their lunar calendar.

The constellation s interpretation as a snake bearer can be explained by the appearance of a body dividing the snake constellation Serpens into two parts, Serpens Caput and Serpens Cauda. Ophiuchus also hosts Barnard s Star, which is the third closest star to our solar system.

The recent resurfacing of Ophiuchus means if you were born between November 29 and December 17, you ve been living a lie your whole life. Or at least reading the wrong horoscope.

But it also goes to show that how we typically think of constellations, as consistent presences in the night sky, isn t very accurate. The problem is not all constellations are created equally, so the Sun doesn t spend the same amount of time aligned with each. For example, the Sun aligns with Ophiuchus for about 18 days compared to 75 days with Virgo .

The Earth s axis has also shifted in the past 3,000 years, meaning that the days used for the original zodiac no longer align with the path of the sun. As a result, approximately 86 percent of people currently identify as the wrong astrological sign. While they might make cool patterns in the Earth s sky, like a bear, there is no evidence that the stars in a constellation are related at all. In fact, stars are always moving but the changes are so infinitesimal they re almost impossible for humans to notice in their lifetime.

Ophiuchus, which is basically the Slytherin-Ravenclaw hybrid of the zodiac, takes the form of a snake bearer. People born under the sign are thought to be seekers of knowledge and also have a flamboyant style of dress. Ophiuchans are also considered to be great architects or builders.

Here s the real kicker: Ophiuchus doesn t have an opposite sign, meaning you can no longer justify your dating life with opposites attract. Guess Ophiuchuns don t need that horoscope after all. "
