We are created for fellowship with God. We are destined to share love, value as a person, and a belonging with and towards God. Because of God, we in Eternity will also will be able to share love and fellowship with one another as God intended with Him in Eternity.
God's act of creating us for fellowship with Him, means that He loves us, and He wants all of us to be a companion for eternity. When we are Born-Again, we are changed from our fallen state from the separation caused by Adam and Eve, to the 100% absolute marking by the Holy Spirit to be in fellowship with Him for eternity.
If we were not created as eternal beings then we cannot be in fellowship with God as God is Eternal. We are called by God to chose Him so that we can be with Him in Eternity, that involves us having the choice where the alternative is to be separated from Him for eternity.

a pagan culture along with modern-day non-Christian religions, the worship of their god or gods is the opposite method of the God of the Bible.
As an extreme example, the ancient Mayans and other similar religions in the American Continents did many barbaric rituals that included human sacrifices. Their worship consisted of:
These four methods have also had their purposes to:
This view of worship of the pagan gods has had an influence in many religions of today that include openly known Satanic Cults. The results have people that do not know the God of Christianity:
As an example, specific high-valued Renaissance painters have specific brush strokes that can be seen in the paint, and the paint had specific chemical qualities, that are almost impossible to duplicate. Monetary currencies have embedded string or fabric in the paper along with highly detailed markings.
Sometimes there are questions regarding worship, that is related to what is real worship, such as:
The answers is none of the four are required in the Church Age Dispensation. Doing any of the four are still worthy for worshiping God but they can be described as methods where the true requirement is knowing that worship is about:
Note:
Psalm 95:6 | Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! |
King David: 2 Samuel 6:14-15 and 2 Samuel 21-22 |
14 And
David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a
priestly garment. 15 So David and all the
people of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and
the blowing of rams horns. 21 David retorted to Michal, I was dancing before the Lord, who chose me above your father and all his family! He appointed me as the leader of Israel, the people of the Lord, so I celebrate before the Lord. 22 Yes, and I am willing to look even more foolish than this, even to be humiliated in my own eyes! But those servant girls you mentioned will indeed think I am distinguished! |
In the Old Testament Dispensation Period of Israel, after giving of the Law by Moses, required able body men to attend Passover but if a man, along with this family, were unable to worship at the Temple, then they could worship at their home or even their town's temple along with doing the require animal sacrifices. When studying the approach to worship and living righteously, all the methods point Jesus Christ the Messiah promised in the Old Testament and given in the New Testament. The New Testament gave us all a greater direct approach to our worship of God through Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 | Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. |
A Christian is never to do works for Salvation as Salvation is a Gift of God. Rewards in Heaven are based on our works of putting them there.
Ephesians 2:8-9 | 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. |
Luke 4:8 | And Jesus answered him, It is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve. |
The scriptures impart that God has a great deal of rewards to give to us at the Judgment Seat of Christ if we have earned them. Working, through Faith, in the five areas listed next can also be consider a type of worship.
Everything done through faith that:
will contribute to rewards in Heaven.

Some Christians many not realize that when we do works, because of our love God and His enjoyment, then this is a type of worship. Our worship is always required to be based on Faith in God.
Hebrews 11:6 | and without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him. |
In the scriptures, the primary commonly know ways of worship are accurately and most importantly taught to be:
2 Chronicles 7:14 | If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. |
Matthew 25:40 | And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. |
John 4:21-24 | 21 Jesus said to her, Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. 25 The woman said to him, I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus said to her, I who speak to you am he. |
While we are on Earth, before entering Heaven, we can pray and worship God any many ways. The traditional ways of attending Church, Singing, taking Communion, praying before going to bed are all worthy forms of worship and spending time with God. For many decades, many of us have heard about selecting a place in our home to spend time in prayer and worship with God that starts in the morning, happens during the day and ends before going to sleep for the evening.
Worship is traditionally thought of something that involves activities that require kneeling, holding hands up in surrender, looking at religious icons to help in thinking about God. There is more to worship that involves thinking about being directly before the Thrown of God with these requirements:
Most likely everyone of us, including this author on many occasions, have felt a sense of God's presence and our own selves' unworthiness that is only over come because of Jesus Christ being our Savior, that we have tears of sadness with joy that can have ourselves going to the floor with the humbleness that is perhaps the greatest form of worship. Both Isaiah and Daniel had to be strengthened when confronted with the difference in their unworthiness compared to God.
Isaiah 6:5 | And I said: Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts! |
Daniel 10:19 | And he said, O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage. And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me. |
Many great Christians have reflected and told stories that the best times during their lives of worship have mostly been when the person was alone, rather than in Church. This author has had the same experiences and can describe the benefit as there are no distractions and being solely with God that is an desirable wonderful loving experience.
An excerpt from the topic of being
Antireligious is Correct and
Required: There are several Biblical Scholars who have stated that Jesus Christ was the most antireligious person to have ever walked on the earth. He taught us that being religious was not what God wanted from us. This is shown in the scriptures on how Jesus Christ spoke with the religious leaders of His time, such as the Pharisees, Sadducees and Sanhedrin, as read in Matthew 23:25, Matthew 3:7 and several other passages:
God has always wanted a relationship with us that has:
because even non-Christians are doing all of these without a relationship with Jesus Christ. Most likely all of us have been in Church and seen someone who has been going to Church for years, and then that person goes up to the Alter to finally accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Everything before, for that person, was being done mechanically, socially, curiosity or to see if God was real. These first four points are still worthy, have merit, have enjoyment, can be done and are good when Jesus Christ is the focus. Note that the fifth item has never been Biblically correct. There are forms of making restitution for damage, sins or crimes done but this is not a form of penance. When we have a relationship with Jesus Christ:

Our Triune God has Perfect Unity, which we will be part of in a very special way as read in John 17:20-26.
John 17:20-26 | 20 I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them. |
1 Corinthians 15:25-28 | 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For Godc has put all things in subjection under his feet. But when it says, all things are put in subjection, it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. 28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all. |
This author has had several increasing experiences, during very difficult horrible periods in my life, where the knowledge and realization that Jesus Christ is watching over me, no matter what happens, has help to calm the situations coming against me. There are always times in all of our lives the Satanic Forces in this world are:
See James 1:12, 1 Peter 5:10, Romans 12:12 and so many others.
James 1:2 | 2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. |
When we know our lives are in the midst of being in a war-zone against our adversary, the Satanic Forces and our own sinful selfishness, then we must pray and worship daily for strength, deliverance, peace and knowledge of our God loves us. Our lives should always be in worship in different forms of prayer talking, thanking and asking God to always be part of our lives.
Worship is always to be thought of as oneself singularly speaking, thanking and also in humble silence being in God's presence.
The greatest worship experience can often occur at the most mundane of times where the event may have nothing to do with the surroundings, people present, and any earthly influences.
We are to have fellowship with other Christians to strengthen each other as we join in worship and prayers. The most important part of worship is growing in love our God.
