The scriptures have many examples of a topic being spoken about and there is a transition to additional information. Probably one of the most well know examples that God uses is when Ezekiel 28:11-19 and Isaiah 14:3-23 are speaking about the King of Tyre and King of Babylon where there is a switch to speak about Lucifer's fall.
The Psalms are replete with this scriptural style of dual topics, dual prophecies and the use of parallel prophecies. This topic on Psalm 69 gives us a glimpse of Jesus Christ's childhood that also enlightens us in understanding the Pharisees calling Jesus Christ a bastard.
The following is an excerpt from
Could Jesus Commit Sin?
topic: Jesus Christ is God with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit in Eternity. When He entered His Creation as:
He was always God and knew He Was God. He has:
The temptations presented to Jesus Christ were understood by Jesus Christ but it was impossible for them to have any power over Jesus Christ because He is God. When we read about the temptations that came against Him, the temptations were absolutely real and had power because of Jesus Christ's:

We know from John 8:41, the Pharisees were ridiculing Jesus of being an illegitimate child. In Psalm 69:12, the "who sit at the gate" are the town officials. These two scriptural references let us know that Jesus' childhood was most likely a rough time full of torment and teasing by others.
Key Points:
Psalm 69:7-8 | 7 For I endure scorn for your sake, and shame covers my face. 8 I am a foreigner to my own family, a stranger to my own mother s children; |
Psalm 69:10-12 | 10 When I weep and fast, I must endure scorn; 11 when I put on sackcloth, people make sport of me. 12 Those who sit at the gate mock me, and I am the song of the drunkards. |
The Virgin Birth was prophesied in the Isaiah 7:14.
Isaiah 7:14 | Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. |
Some of the Scribes and the Pharisees called Jesus Christ a Bastard, which meant a man who does not know who is his father. Notice the word "fornication" where the Scribes and Pharisees knew of Jesus Christ's childhood, but didn't not recognize all the prophecies of the Messiah that would come which included a virgin birth.
There is more to the discussion, during this encounter of the Scribes and Pharisees with Jesus, where Jesus corrects their belief of saying "we have one Father, even God", that their father is Lucifer in verse 44 because they are not recognizing Jesus Christ for who He is.
John 8:41 | Ye do the works of your father. They said unto him, We were not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. |
Jesus Christ was born of Mary through the Seed of God via the miracle of the Hold Spirit.
Isaiah 7:14 | Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. |
