| The following is an excerpt from the
Water Baptism topic: John the Baptist was a very honored individual in the scriptures:
- Born from the Levitical Priest Zechariah and Elizabeth where Elizabeth
was also a descendent of the priestly line of Aaron as read in Luke 1:5.
- He was indwelled with the Holy Spirit in womb as read in Luke 1:15.
(a) When anyone is indwelled by the
Holy Spirit that means the person is marked with having Salvation.
John the Baptist did not get water baptized in the womb to have forgiveness
of sins and to receive the Holy Spirit.
(b) This verse, along with many others, is proof that
Abortion is murder except when
protecting the life of the mother.
- Jesus Christ stated "I tell you, among those born
of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the
kingdom of God is greater than he.” as read in Luke 7:24-35 and
Matthew 11:7-9. This was the prophetic fulfillment of the scriptural
passage of Malachi 3:1.
- John the Baptist is the fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah 40:3, and
then verse 40:4 is the future prophecy of the
second of two
Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
(a) When Jesus Christ puts His foot on the Mount of Olives, a great valley will
be formed as read in Zechariah 14:4
(b) Is it a coincidence that John the Baptist's father is Levitical Priest
that happens to be also named Zechariah and a reference to Book of
Zechariah? This author states it is not a coincidence where the
theoretical purpose is for the reader to relate the two events mentioned and
the name is to be part of a clue to research.
(c) Notice in Zechariah 14:5 the "all the saints with
You" which requires the
Wedding Super of the Lamb
to already have happened so that those that are at the Wedding Supper of the
Lamb can come with Jesus Christ to part of duties in Jesus Christ's ruling
during the Millennial Kingdom.
- Jesus Christ with purpose to illustrate the importance, which included
fulfillment of the scriptures, was water baptized.
- Note that John he Baptist stated
"the One who sent me to baptize with water told me,
‘The man on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is He who will baptize
with the Holy Spirit.".

Wedding Super of the
Lamb had to have happened |
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the
Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of
Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain
shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south. 5
Then you shall
flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you
fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the
Lord my God will come, And all the saints with You.

began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the
wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind? 25
Otherwise, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes?
Look, those who wear elegant clothing and live in luxury are found in
palaces. 26 What then did you go out to
see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. 27This
is the one about whom it is written: ‘Behold, I will send My messenger
ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You.’ 28
I tell
you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John, yet
even the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” |

Then the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple—the
Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight—see, He is coming,” says

These are some of the primary scriptural references of the Water Baptisms
which John the Baptist was involved. The important points of the passages
are:
- John the Baptist said Jesus Christ is he "Lamb of God,
who takes away the sin of he world"
- John the Baptist said "the reason I came
baptizing with water was that He might be revealed to Israel."
- John the Baptist said "the One who sent me
to baptize with water told me" which is a reference to God the
Father.
- John the Baptist said the "One",
which is God the Father, said to state Jesus Christ will be the one "is
He who will baptize with the Holy Spirit."

Therefore the scriptures are stating we are to be baptized with the Holy
Spirit. This starts on the Day of Pentecost as read
in Acts chapters 2, 8, 10, and 19.

sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the

saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on

Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit
