After the Great White Thrown of Judgment, which is when all human-beings without Salvation along with Fallen Angels and Demons are cast for eternity into the Lake of Fire, God will be giving us a wonderful gift. The wonderful gift will be to remove the memories of the past that can cause sorrow and pain in eternity future.
Revelation 21:4 | He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. |
We learn in the Book of Revelation that God will be wiping our tears away. The answer to the possibilities of why God is doing this is most likely for the lost opportunities we had to:
It is a gift from God to remove the memories:
There is a necessity for God to remove the memory of the past evils, in all of its forms. This is because the memory of all evils, which we will not want to remember, have an anchor to the past as explained in the last section of this topic.
An excerpt from the Lake of Fire
topic: The twelfth and final greatest pain is knowing that no one in
Heaven will remember anyone condemned to the
Eternal Lake of Fire after the Great
White Throne of Judgment. A portion of the scriptural
passage of Revelation 21:4's "wiping
away of tears" for those in Heaven, will be God removing any pain
of: |
Isaiah 65:17 | For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. |
Psalm 103:12 | as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. |
Lucifer, the Fallen Angels and Demons will give God worship (under duress and desire to be forgiven) in the Lake of Fire where they will have:
because Lucifer, the Fallen Angels and Demons will NOT be remembered by everyone in eternity future that are with God. In other words, no Angel and human-being, that is with God in Heaven, will remember the things of the past (Isaiah 65:17) which include all those in the Eternal Lake of Fire.
An excerpt from the Suffering
topic: If there is suffering, which includes torture and death, that is experienced by the Christian Believer, when it was not the consequences of sinful actions, the following points apply. When there is suffering that is a result of consequences of sinful actions then these points can also apply to us based on how we turn to God for guidance.
Notice "ALL THINGS" for those those who love God and for those of us who are Saved.

FIRST: There is the one question of three, that this author has not seen in any Biblical Commentaries, is:
"Will God also remove the memories of the fallen Angels and all other evils in the minds of His Angels?"
This author believes the answer is "yes", as the Angels do not deserve the burden of the remembrance of evil. This does not contradict the "Purpose of All History" as all human-beings and Angels in Eternity Future with God can know the Restitution done by Jesus Christ without requiring to remember evil.
Isaiah 65:17 | For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. |
Psalm 103:12 | as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. |
SECOND: There is the second question of three, that this author has not seen in any Biblical Commentaries, is:
"Will God also remove the bad memories for human-beings of other human-beings that are in Heaven with them?"
This author believes the answer is "yes", as all of us have sinned in our lives, and sometimes greatly have sinned. ALL human-beings in heaven, will have committed sins and sometimes very grievous sins towards others where there are victims who will remember.
There are some disagreements between outstanding Biblical Scholars on how Jesus Christ will perform at the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ, which may / should include evaluation of good deeds which resulted from sinful deeds. When evaluation is done, for all of us to see as it gives Glory to Jesus Christ, then victims will understand sinful deeds done against them in a more clearly and hurtful intent of the selfishness that all of us in our Earthly lives do exhibit.
God requires us to forgive in our early lives, and in our glorified bodies with enhanced mental abilities we would absolutely recognize and will instantly forgive everyone who sinned against us where there is absolutely no requirement to retain ALL negative history of all human-beings (with our sinful selfish acts) in eternity future.
As Revelation 21:4 and Isaiah 65:17 inform us, God will remove the burden of bad memories. This is a reassuring thought to look forward to the removal of regret and embarrassment that we all will feel at the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 65:17 | For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. |
Psalm 103:12 | as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. |
THIRD: The third question of three, that this author has not seen in any Biblical Commentaries, is:
"Will we recognize our parents, relatives, spouses, children, siblings and good friends in eternity when regarding Revelation 21:4 and Isaiah 65:17?"
The problem is if God removes the bad memories "wipe away tears" and "former things shall not be remembered", then how can we recognize those people we loved and cared about? The answer to the "third question" and to the problem is "yes, we still remember" as God will not remove:
from our new Glorified Bodies ability to retain memories, which God has allowed to remain. Our "Perfect Unity" with God and all others in Eternity Future is going to enhance our pleasure in doing for others when we feel other inhabitants of Eternity's feelings of joy, love and fellowship.
The start of Revelation chapter 21 shows there is a new Heaven and New Earth in verse 1, which means the final Great White Thrown of Judgment has already occurred.
Revelation 21:1 | Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. |
The following is an excerpt from the
Purpose of all History
topic: When Eternity begins after the 1000 year Millennial Kingdom, this author has the following belief, where the second one I have not seen in any Biblical Commentary.

What to read next?
What is Salvation? Is it is possible to lose Salvation? We have eternal life. Evolution is not real. When a Christian suffers is there benefits from it. Rewards in heaven. Do we Tithe? What does the 3rd Commandment tell us? What is Grace and Mercy? Is there an Age of Accountability? Is there a place of unending punishment and exile form God?
