A A A  help

Do NOT be afraid.  The scriptures mention the phrase "Do not be afraid", and "Trust God" at least 365 times.  You and all of us can trust God, and that is why God repeats the message to never be afraid throughout the entirety of the scriptures.  Here are just two beautiful and comforting verses about not being afraid and trusting God for the Christian.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will put my trust and faith in You.

In everyone's life, there will be times that we are:

God has given us Hope and many ways to strengthen ourselves in these times.  When we are facing any of these conditions the antidote is to FOCUS ON GOD'S LOVE

As a Christian, we always need to remember and realize that nothing can take us away from God's Love, even when we have done horrible and evil things.  If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior do it now.

The scriptures show something very special for Christians as he did for Israel in the Old Testament.  God is always active in our lives, where events in the world and in our lives that can be horrific, will not take away from God's love and guidance.  We need to stay focused on the fact that God loves us and if it is God's purpose to have us go through in any tough circumstance, trials and even our death then it will be to God's and our glory where we will be given eternal rewards for trusting God.

When we all get past tough events and times, if we look back at the events, we will see God was there.  This has been very beautifully done in the Foot Prints in the Sand poem

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
2 Corinthians 5:8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

When we focus on God's Love then we will know that He will be there for us through any problem, calamity and even be there in death.

God always has plans for us!  Even at the last moments of life such as the Thief on the Cross, which is an amazing example of God's Love because the thief asked Jesus Christ for help and for Jesus Christ to remember him.  Jesus Christ told the thief that on this very day that the thief would be with Him.  Additionally, the thief has been an example for everyone that Jesus Christ accepts us as we are even at the last moments of life.  The thief proves that we cannot earn Salvation as the thief was about to breathe his last breaths and not able to do anything to earn Salvation, where the thief's only requirement is recognizing Jesus Christ as his Savior.

Also, we always need to remember that Suffering in our earthly lives has many rewards in eternity.  Even when we are Suffering for something we did wrong then God will use it to help us, make our lives better and show us he loves us.

Understanding Fear, Despair and Loneliness is Important

If you do not have Jesus Christ as your Savior then ask Him to come into your life now!

  1. Fear is often described many Biblical Scholars as the opposite of Faith.  The realities of life is every one of us will go through tough times that can include very horrible circumstances that include being very afraid which might include mortally afraid.  During the times that we all are afraid, that can include being in fear of death, there is one way to help ourselves which is simply remembering God's Love.
  2. Despair is often described as an emotion when a person thinks that there is no hope.  With God there always hope!
  3. Loneliness is often described as an emotion that can make a person feel that they are alone in the world.  This is never true because God Love us and is with us!  We are never alone!

When we are in the midst of any situation that causes fear, despair and loneness, we should:

We always need to understand that God is not allowing or even sending us any problems into our lives to destroy us.  When we seek God's help and focusing on God's love for us, then this is a haven, oasis and sanctuary to get deliverance so that our mind can reach a state of calmness.

Matthew 11:28-30 28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
Philippians 4:6-7 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Trusting our God

One of this author's favorite Biblical Expositors is Chuck Missler.  Chuck often reminds listeners in his MP3s that God every day will find a way to ask us if we trust Him so that God can show us that God is:

Scriptures

There are many wonderful examples of people in the Bible who faced death and horrific times where they relied on God.  The scriptures, show us that these people faced fear by Faith but the Faith was in knowledge that God's Love is there for those who recognize and accept God.  Jesus Christ died for our sins so that we can be with Him in eternity.

Some Scriptures, of many, to help us all

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
2 Kings 6:16 And he answered, Fear not; for they that are with us are more than they that are with them.
Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Proverbs 24:20 for the evil man has no future; the lamp of the wicked will be put out.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 5:8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
