Political Correctness is a very powerful force that drives, mandates and ensures that people will act, speak and give for a common goal which is already demonstrating to be in many ways against the Word of God.
There are times when we as Christians may think something is being Politically Correct but it actually being Biblically Correct.
Luke 7:23 | And blessed is the one who is not offended by me. |
Matthew 24:10 concerning the future before Jesus Christ return. |
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. |
1 Corinthians 1:23 | but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness |
This is an excerpt from the
Peaceful People topic: Political Correctness (PC), in a broad sense, means: to not say anything negative against specific groups of people or it is okay to speak negatively against all people in a specific group. PC is a recently defined term but in reality, PC has always been in the world's history. The PC belief system has been used to identify, take advantage of, subjugate, take into slavery or kill other groups of people. As an example of identifying everyone negatively, a PC person might state first that all Nazis in WWII were evil people. This same PC person might potentially go further and state that all Germans, in the 1930s through 1940s, were evil because of the Nazis in Germany along with the country of Germany starting a second world war and tried to kill all the Jewish people found. While the first statement of the PC person was true, the second statement by the PC person is incorrect, wrong and applying the actions of the Nazis and a small group of German Leaders to the whole population of Germany. In many countries that include the United States, PC has become a persistently used method of thinking and a manner of speaking about groups of people in the Media and Politics. PC is not simply the absence or the openness of speaking positively or negatively about a group of people. In a more defined sense:
PC is being used to excuse evil being done by specific groups because the majority of a specific group are peaceful. The problem, that is being ignored by PC types of people, is the good people in a group are most likely never going to be able to stop the evil being done by the individuals in their group. Edmund Burke stated "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Unfortunately, history has shown us that this happens over and over. This author is not a PC person and this author is not stating that the whole group of people in a specific group are now to be consider negatively. This author is pointing out that the ideas of PC are dangerous because peaceful people have largely proven to be irrelevant in stopping evil. |
It is this author's theory that the peer-pressure influence of Political Correctness will be part of the Antichrist's tools to take the Mark of the Beast.
An easy example of the negative power that can be influenced on people is the indoctrination that occurred unfortunately to both:
The WWII examples are part of many examples that show:
