Home Fellowships are the best way to worship, have fellowship with other Believers and to learn more from the Scriptures.  This is not saying that attending a Church Service is wrong.  Finding a good Church is very important but it is just a start in the Christian's life.  Churches have many important roles and primarily their first role is a place for witnessing and getting Salvation, as a good Church shows visitors that there are Christians who live and walk the Faith which is great inspiration.

• The Book of Acts shows us that all of the worship, fellowship, evangelism and growth happened in people's homes, albeit there were also meetings in secret places in catacombs when necessary.   Formal Churches did not begin until the 3rd Century.
• Home Fellowships in the past, were how corrections were formalized in not only the Roman Catholic Faith but also started the Denominational Faiths. *
• It is a place for everyone to have a chance to ask questions and give answers.
• There is an opportunity for those in need to get help.  It is a place for those who have specific Gifts from God to be able to exercise them.
• People who need help in being accountable can get assistance.
• Scriptural study can be tailored for the level of the Christian's Walk and Scriptural knowledge levels.
• All members of the Fellowship can have their Faith grown by hearing how God is working in everyone attending lives.

* If you are a Roman Catholic reading this, then do not take offense with the idea that there is only one Faith and that is Catholic.  You may not know that there has been Eastern Orthodox Christian Faiths that have existed since the time of the Book of Acts.  As time goes by, mankind has sometimes found different ways that can honor God with a different "style" that the people originating the style put a name to it and it grew.  The Roman Catholic Denomination has gone on to do many remarkable things, but it is not the only Christian path that can worship, honor, love and be loved by God.  God does not judge a person based on membership but by his or her Faith and Love for God because of acceptance of the Savior Jesus Christ.
