Chapter Verses in the Bible Books
The Old Testament Verses were developed by Rabbi Nathan around 1448.
The New Testament Verses were developed by Robert Estienne, also known
as Robert Stephanus, around 1551.
The Verses are not considered
divinely inspired but were created to aid in

Notes:
There are some places that many Biblical Scholars believe the Chapter
Break is not convenient or correct. As an example, Isaiah 53 should
have begun at Isaiah 52:13.
There are some Biblical Scholars who discuss that the book of Psalms was
most likely 5 books that were combined into one which would have given the
total of OT books at 43 and the grand total of 70 books in the Bible rather
than 66 books.
